Peter M. Casey

Attorney

Peter M. Casey, who co-founded the firm in 2013, was born and raised in LeRoy, New York and attended Notre Dame High School in Batavia, New York.  After attending undergraduate at John Carroll University, he obtained his law degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2008 in Cleveland, Ohio.  Peter decided to pursue a “small town” practice back home in Batavia and has been a member of the local bar ever since.  His main areas of focus at the firm include commercial and residential real estate transactions, commercial lending, estate planning, including Wills and Trusts, along with probate and estate administration.  Peter resides in the City of Batavia with his wife, Lauren, and three children, Madelyn, Patrick and Emily.

Anneliese R. Aliasso

Associate Attorney

Anneliese R. Aliasso (“Anni”) joined Del Plato Casey in June 2024.  Originally from Batavia, Anni is a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She began her career in Syracuse, New York practicing commercial and real estate litigation, including assisting clients with contract disputes, evictions, foreclosures, and Article 78 proceedings challenging or defending decisions of local planning and zoning boards. Currently, Anni concentrates her practice on transactional real estate and estate planning. She also has experience with the preparation of various diversity certification applications, including the New York State MWBE Program and Department of Transportation’s DBE Program. Anni lives in Batavia with her husband, Mike, and their son, Clark.

Karen Vallese

Paralegal

Karen Vallese is a Paralegal at Del Plato Casey Law Firm and assists with both real estate and estate planning matters.  She has been with the firm since 2017 and has over 25 years of experience as a paralegal in many different disciplines.  Karen received her paralegal degree from Genesee Community College and her bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo. She is also a member of the Leadership Genesee Class of 2024.

Kathy Grayson

Paralegal

Kathy Grayson joined Del Plato Casey as a Legal Assistant in 2021. However, today, her main focus is on real estate, working closely with clients and realtors throughout the process of buying and selling real estate. Kathy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Long Island University, Southampton Campus and has had a wide range of work experience focusing on customer service. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her two sons participate in sports, and walking her dog.

Michelle Clattenburg

Paralegal / Legal Assistant

Michelle Clattenburg was born and raised in Batavia, NY. She graduated from Batavia High School and Genesee Community College, and later worked at a local law office for 36 years before joining Del Plato Casey in April 2023. Michelle is the first face you will see when you walk into our office. In addition to her welcoming duties, Michelle assists with estate planning and LLC matters.

Michael A. Del Plato was a founding partner of Del Plato Casey Law Firm. After a successful legal career, beginning in 1972 as a private practitioner, then Batavia City Court Judge, and an outstanding community contributor, Mr. Del Plato retired from the firm in 2022.
